About the Course
There’s nothing like a crisis to get the media’s heart pumping. A crisis is news, and if you’re in the middle of one, you had better be prepared for how to address reporters.
This course provides preparation steps and tips on how to plan for the media’s interest in your crisis, whatever the crisis may be. You will receive step-by-step direction on how to create a response team, identifying and preparing a spokesperson, creating a crisis communications manual, as well as a glimpse inside the newsroom and what motivates the media.
